Programme overview
Professional Video Editing & Content Production is a six-week beginner-friendly practical programme designed for aspiring editors, content creators, entrepreneurs, social-media managers and communications professionals. Learners build a strong foundation in editing principles, visual storytelling, shot selection, pacing, captions, sound, transitions, basic colour correction, social-first formats and commercial content production using CapCut.
The course is project-led. Learners edit short-form social videos, promotional content and a client-style brief, then complete a portfolio assessment before progression. Learners may stop after this level and receive the standalone course certificate, or continue into Advanced Video Editing & Post-Production — Adobe Premiere Pro after the pathway transition window.
